ТВАРИННИЦТВО: СТАН ТА ПЕРСПЕКТИВИ РОЗВИТКУ

Анотація

У статті розглядається стан розвитку такої стратегічно важливої галузі як тваринництво, котра є важливим чинником забезпечення населення повноцінними і калорійними продуктами харчування, робочими місцями сільських мешканців, прибутковості, розв'язання соціальних проблем села. Акцентується увага на існуванні негативних тенденцій у розвитку тваринництва, котрі обумовлені недостатністю продовольчого забезпечення у якісній м'ясо-молочній продукції, масовому насиченні внутрішнього ринку імпортною м'ясною продукцією та замінниками молочної сировини. Виявлено характерні зміни у поголів'ї сільськогосподарських тварин та обсягах виробництва основних продуктів тваринництва. Стверджується, що нині складний стан у розвитку тваринництва країни потребує дієвого втручання держави для подолання деструктивних процесів у його виробничо-господарській діяльності з метою призупинення руйнування галузі та нарощування обсягів конкурентоспроможної тваринницької продукції. Запропоновано для досягнення ефективного відродження і інтенсивного розвитку галузі забезпечити відкритість виконуваних дій органами державної і виконавчої влади та активізувати участь громадян при вирішенні комплексу проблем, що накопичилися у галузі тваринництва.

ANIMAL HUSBANDRY: STATE AND PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT

Summary

The article examines the state of development of such a strategically important industry as animal husbandry, which is an important factor in providing the population with full-fledged and high-calorie food, jobs for rural residents, profitability, and solving social problems in the village. Attention is focused on the existence of negative trends in the development of animal husbandry, which are caused by insufficient food supply in high-quality meat and dairy products, mass saturation of the domestic market with imported meat products and substitutes for dairy raw materials. Characteristic changes in the number of farm animals and the volume of production of basic animal products, especially milk, beef, and pork, were revealed. It is established that the obstacle to the reproduction of the production and economic potential of livestock enterprises and the stable development of animal husbandry was the lack and lack of an effective mechanism for attracting monetary resources from various sources for the full restoration, effective maintenance and use of the genetic potential of animals, which led to the appearance of destructive processes in this previously profitable industry. It is argued that the current difficult state in the development of animal husbandry in the country requires effective state intervention to overcome destructive processes in its production and economic activities in order to stop the destruction of the industry and increase the volume of competitive livestock products. At the same time, it is important to develop a system of scientific support and justification for the further development of reformation and transformation processes, the optimal combination and prioritization of their common parameters, which will directly affect the effectiveness of functional changes in animal husbandry. In order to achieve effective revival and intensive development of the industry, it is proposed to ensure the openness of actions performed by state and executive authorities and to increase the participation of citizens in solving a complex of problems accumulated in the livestock industry.
